Topographical Surveys

Topographical Surveys or Land Surveys, commonly referred to as Topo’s are carried out using Total Station survey equipment which takes laser measurements combined with GPS data to produce an accurate model of natural and man made features in a specified area. Details typically captured in a topographical survey include but are not limited to; Street furniture such as service covers and lamp columns, highway boundaries, road markings, trees and vegetation, ground levels and contours and buildings and structures.

Topographical surveys are required for the purpose of planning new developments or highway schemes and are typically the first step in most planning stages of a project.

All of our topographical surveys can be produced in various file formats including DXF, DWG and PDF.
